Transgress Fest is the first punk and hardcore festival in Southern California that centers the music and voices of trans/gender non-conforming bands. Founded by Drew Arriola-Sands, a singer, songwriter and musician, Arriola-Sands is at the center of the new wave of queercore. Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Drew came out as trans in 2014 and formed the hardcore punk band Trap Girl that same year.
