Paul Gellman (aka Tall Paul), an artist, actor and writer makes pillows with his mother Simmie Gellman. She is part Lakota Sioux from Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and his late father was a first-generation Russian Jew. He arrived in Los Angeles in 1995 via Saint Louis and New York and has continued to make art as well as play music and write and perform one act pieces here, resolutely establishing his status as a Silver Lake legend.
